South Point Student Ministry
Welcome!
South Point Student Ministry is for all 6th-12th grade students seeking to connect with others their age as they grow in their walk with Jesus!
Our goal is to glorify God by building a mission-minded, Gospel-centered community where students are rooted in faith, equipped for life, and sent out on mission.
Regular Rhythms
Sundays & Wednesdays
Student Sunday School
When: Sundays from 8:45 - 9:45 AM.
Where:
- High School (9th-12th) meets in the Cafe.
- Middle School (5th-8th) meets in the Student Center.
What can I expect?
During the hour, students will take part in studying God’s word, hear engaging teaching and discussion, and will be challenged to center their lives on Christ.
Student Summit
When: Sundays from 6:00 - 7:15 PM.
Where: The Student Center
What can I expect?
During these nights, Students lead their peers in worship and fun games. Our student pastor provides a short and practical devotion followed by grade and gender specific small groups. These evenings are focused on cultivating Christ-centered community.
Middle School Huddle
When: Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:15 PM, Free dinner is provided.
Where: The Cafe
What can I expect?
These nights include free dinner, a short devotion, and fun games.
High School GROW Groups
When: Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:15 PM, Free dinner is provided.
Where: The Student Center
What can I expect?
These nights include free dinner followed by intentional small group studies that are gender specific.

Sept. 24 | See You @ The Pole (FCA)
When: Wednesday (September 24), 7:45 AM
Where: Meet at the flagpole at your local school
What can I expect?
This is a nationwide morning of prayer happening at every school with an FCA. Join us at your local FCA as students together to pray for our nation, schools, and the world!
Oct. 3 | Middle School Bonfire
When: Friday (October 3), 6:30- 8:30 PM
Where: The Quad (on campus)
What can I expect?
Join us for a night for our middle school students to enjoy the fall with s’mores, yard games, and more!
Oct. 18 | High School Bonfire
When: Saturday (October 18), 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Where: The Risk’s House (off campus)
What can I expect?
A night for our high school students to enjoy the fall with a bonfire, s’mores, yard games, and more!
Oct. 26 | Trunk or Treat
When: Sunday (October 26), 5:00 - 6:30 pm
Where: Church Parking Lot
What can I expect?
This is a church-wide fall festival event. We will have fun fall themed games, candy, and more. This will be a fun event for all ages! We are asking students to help with some of our games as well as setting up and cleaning up.
Nov. 8 | Celebrate Life Prayer Rally
When: Saturday (November 8), 9:00 - 10:30 AM
Where: We will meet at a central location in Charlotte (off campus). Email or RSVP for more details.
What can I expect?
This is a pro-life, Christian prayer rally organized by Love Life Ministries. They are an established ministry based in Charlotte, which has locations nation wide. During these events, we gather together to sing worship songs and pray for the end of abortion.
Nov. 30 | Game Time
When: Sunday (November 30), 6:00 - 7:15 PM
Where: The Student Center
What can I expect?
Join us for a fun night of games and fellowship. We will meet in the student center for group games, and move to the Cafe afterwards for fellowship and snacks!
Dec. 7 | Student Christmas Party
When: Sunday (December 7), 6:00 - 7:15 PM
Where: The Student Center
What can I expect?
Tis the reason for the season! Let’s celebrate the birth of Jesus together with a white elephant gift exchange (price cap of $15) and fun Christmas games and snacks!
Dec. 10 | Christmas Movie Night
When: Wednesday (December 10), 6:00 - 7:15 PM
Where: The Family Ministry Center (on campus)
What can I expect?
Join us for a church-wide movie night as we enjoy the Christmas classics! Hot cocoa, Charlie Brown, and more!
