High school students are invited to our High School Mission Retreat, where we will travel to Western North Carolina and serve with Baptists on Mission in hurricane Helene rebuild efforts.
REGISTRATION CLOSES FEBRUARY 1

The cost is $25 to attend this retreat. We will leave March 12 in the afternoon and arrive back in Belmont the evening of March 14. This trip is open to all high school students, but space is limited so sign up soon!
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Mark 10:45, ESV
Jesus came into the world to serve and He gave His life as the ultimate sacrifice so that we may experience life to the fullest (John 10:10, abundant). Jesus calls all of His followers into a life of sacrificial service to God and one another.

Hurricane Helene devastated the Western North Carolina mountains, and although the storm hit over a year ago, the rebuild efforts are no where near complete. In the weeks following the hurricane, churches across the United States came together to flood the area with supplies and labor. Baptists On Mission has been the tip of the spear for the majority of these relief, recovery, and rebuild efforts.

Today, many towns are still working to rebuild houses, roads, and lives after hurricane Helene shattered their world. This trip will be an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and remind the people of Western North Carolina that there is still hope after Helene.
We will primary focus on rebuild efforts. These include installing decks, stairs, painting, etc. Because of the fluid nature of the rebuild efforts, we will receive our marching orders when we arrive on site.
